Driving CRM With Woobot and Microsoft Teams

Your Data. Your Way.

With our latest release of Woobot for Microsoft Teams, groups can now access their critical Salesforce CRM data in real-time and respond to changes in the business based on the way they work – supported by the right enterprise data at the right time.

Notifications That Don’t Suck

Getting notifications EVERY TIME a field updates is so annoying. Woobot brings intelligence to the table for all your Leads, Accounts, Contacts, and Opportunities, so you can configure what criteria matters most to your team.

And those red hot leads that are interested in learning more … you gotta’ stay on ’em! But nurturing those Leads takes up a lot of time – so much so, that bouncing in and out of Salesforce to manage and respond to them is often a disjointed experience full of outdated interactions and lost insights.

… critical sales insights can now be captured quickly without disrupting your teams conversational flow

Now, new Leads will come and find your sales reps directly in Teams so they can engage with their important customer data as they work leads through the funnel and into your pipeline.

Your team configures when notifications trigger, what channels they show in, what record details are editable, and whether they need to @mention others, or maybe fire under more complex boolean logic like when X and Y and Z happen.

Built For The Real World

Here’s what a typical day might look like for a high-performance sales team using Woobot for Teams.

Here we have a new lead from Alan Parsons that has been assigned to for followup.

Aaron needs to engage with Alan ASAP, and he wants to collaborate with his team member Eric to qualify the deal and convert this Lead to an Account and Contact, so he can move things down the funnel.

Eric can open the lead record, and from there he’ll update the status to Qualified, share that update with the team, and Convert the Lead.

After the demo, Alan tells the team he’s interested in getting a quote, but the team needs Opportunity support from the deal desk because of some pricing discounts Alan is asking for. With compose extensions, they can search and share the Alan Parsons Project Opportunity in context with the deal desk so they can move the things forward!

From there, Eric can pull Brandon into the conversation so the Deal Desk can collaborate with them on the Opportunity details.

Now, when your Opportunities advance, so does your business, and those hand-offs to other team members to help close the deal can now all be driven from within Teams, so critical sales insights can now be captured quickly without disrupting your teams conversational flow.

By combining card actions and dialogs within Teams we enable a whole universe of possibilities to drive the business forward in context!

Bringing It All Together

Organizations need to move beyond simply connecting their enterprise clouds together and calling it a day. This data also needs to meet employees where they work, which requires that messaging apps and enterprise workflows be integrated around the way employees organize their work, rather than the way the organization dictates.

The power of the Microsoft Teams platform, coupled with Woobot’s deep Salesforce integration, now allows enterprises to harness this new competitive edge – supported by a unique blend of data and workflow that seamlessly threads itself within Teams.

What’s Next?

It’s pretty simple.

We want to make working with enterprise data as easy as chatting in Microsoft Teams, because it just makes sense.

Now it’s your turn to experience the magic!

Brandon Oelling

Hey there! I'm Brandon Oelling, the founder of Woobot.io. Our team was awash in a sea of source systems, logins, and web forms to do simple things like responding to important changes in our business and collaborating with one another. We envisioned a world where our enterprise data lived in perfect harmony within our collaboration platforms. Turns out we weren't alone, so we built Woobot.io to fix that. Our goal is to connect your teams with their important enterprise data so they can get things done.
